The
Hard Way
I
never knew that my life
was
so easy till the day
I
came so close to the end.
I
was in the bath
soaking
in hot water.
I
looked to my right
saw
my razor,
picked
it up to my wrist.
I
then went into a bliss.
I
wondered what life
would
be like without me.
I
came back to reality
put my razor on the floor.
I
looked at myself in the mirror
and
collapsed in the shower door.
It
shattered in many pieces
as
I lye in the middle of it all.
My
life was so easy,
now
it’s lying in the middle
of
a pile of glass.
Shattered
pieces of glass
all
around my body pierce my flesh
like
little needles.
I
now know my life would
of
been easier if I hadn’t taken
the
hard way.
